Robert Bray

Equine Nutritionist

Dr. Robert E. Bray is a highly experienced equine nutritionist with a background as a scientist and horseman. Dr. Bray is Professor Emeritus at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and holds a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from the University of Maryland.

 

Starting his work with horses in his teens, Dr. Bray has managed horse farms, bred and shown horses, and conducted extensive research, including with wild horses and in the High Sierras.

 

He is well-published and has written three manuals on equine care and nutrition. Dr. Bray has served on various animal industry boards and advisory roles, including with the Bureau of Land Management Wild Horse & Burro Advisory Board, World Pet Association, the San Diego Zoo, Animal Welfare Advisory Board for the Los Angeles County Fair, and UC Davis Department of Animal Science Development Advisory Board.

 

He formulated the Integrity horse feed line for Star Milling in 2004.
